I was part of the team from Henderson Matusch that attended a vendor stall at the Home Buyer and Property show. We had some chocolate gold coins in a large dish and random people would often just snack on them and I thought “there’s got to be a way to do this better".
I then recalled Jack’s presentation at the Bootcamp about how you are gaining fame as “the Smartie people” and thought to myself “I want HM to become known as the money people.” I started visiting the other vendors and offering them chocolate coins. I’d say, “If you’re like us at the end of today you’ll be a bit tired and need this. I’m from HM, Henderson Matusch, and we’re all about Having Money."
I now keep a few coin-bags in my satchel and hand them out to people I interact with. Great stuff, I love doing it and I can’t wait to build on it some more. Thanks for the inspiration!

I thought your idea of teaching the HM Solution to all team members, so that everyone has a sound knowledge of our main purpose at Henderson Matusch, was fantastic!
The HM Solution Competition was great, and I have had lots of positive feedback about the afternoon. I was thinking earlier this week that some of the advisers might get bored watching the same thing six times in a row. But from what I heard, everyone thought it was great that the other team members were learning this, and were very interested to see the different ways it could be presented while still getting the message across.
And it has worked! Two representatives from our IT department had a meeting with a prospective external service provider and was asked “So, what exactly does Henderson Matusch do?” They were able to give an overview of the company, and then actually drew the “HM Solution” to help explain some of the detail. The external provider was then interested in learning more about HM to assist with his own financial plan.
